AFCA President Sonny Martinez was invited to witness the signing of the Joint Communique between the Philippines and the Province of Ontario. The Joint Communique signifies the intent of both sides to explore the possibility of entering a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on bilateral labor cooperation.

The Joint Communique was signed by Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Silvestre H. Bellow III and Ontario Labour Minister Monte McNaughton at the Legislative Building at Queen’s Park, City of Toronto.
